I wrote on this very same topic in Canada back in March 2021. It's mind-boggling. I originally wrote on Facebook and was lambasted for it.

But I've recently discovered that the greatest sacrifice, relatively, is among under-14s. Like 30-40% excess, and sustained.

Eventually the 85-yos will have to blow the whistle to save their grandkids and great-grandkids

Hi Greg, I PMed you but should also be reachable at norstadt@substack.com.

For the USA, I don't see much rise in the youngest age group (under 25), and the rise is sharp (not gradual) around 4/1/2020. Maybe USA and Canada are different. But no matter these details, I think the topic - Younger people are dying in large numbers for non-COVID reasons - deserves much more attention than it's getting, although there was a recent article:

I just heard an anecdote from a friend who is a funeral director: "I have arranged more funerals for people who have died by suicide in December and January than ever before. It's getting tiring, and no one is talking about it"

This is in a part of Canada that is severely locked down, again. What's our goal here?
